“I had the opportunity of working at Snap as a summer intern in my second year at Uni. I came to Snap with a very limited knowledge of data but I was open and willing to learn more about data analytics. "Get comfortable with being uncomfortable" became a motto for me throughout my internship at Snap. After completing three months at Snap I came away with a better understanding of Power BI and Snowflake. During my summer internship at Snap I felt both seen and heard. When I was an intern I was the only female, I was also the only black person but when I was at Snap I never felt that was disadvantaged at all. There was always a platform for me to speak up and share my thoughts openly.
